Built in 1927, the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel Chicago is a member of the Historic Hotels of America group designated by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Formerly known as the Regal Knickerbocker, the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel, has recently completed renovations as part of a $70 million improvement program.
All 305 rooms have received a completely new traditional decor in floral and neutral patterns and stripes, with such features as chinoiseries armoires, walk-in marble showers, new baths, canopied beds, mini-bars and two-line telephones. Club rooms, which offer guest access to the Millennium Knickerbocker Club Lounge, have chaise lounges. The hotel's public areas, meeting rooms and ballroom have recently been renovated and the two famous tower ballrooms will receive major improvements later this year.
Chicago Knickerbocker Hotel is located just off Chicago's famed 'Magnificent Mile', the convenient Gold Coast setting is the best location for business, shopping and entertainment.
The Knickerbocker Hotel 18,000 square feet of meeting space include the famous 5,000 square foot Crystal Ballroom, highlighted by a 28-foot gilded, gold domed ceiling; two Tower Ballrooms atop the hotel; eight conference parlors; and an executive boardroom.
